In a nutshellHupac welcomes the initiative of the Federal Office of Transport to further limit thenoise emissions. With respect to the factor rolling stock we emphasize four aspects:1) Yes to emission limits after an appropriate transition period2) Noise bonus: active role of Switzerland in Europe - benefits for all3) Incentive funds "noise bonus" must be fair, long-term and technology neutral4) Research and development: focus on operability and marketability.
